At Forest Park we believe a disciple is a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The process of becoming a fully devoted follower is threefold. It involves:
It is the responsibility of the one who has invested and invited to help this new believer become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Many evangelism strategies focus on the new birth of the unbeliever and not on making disciples. It would be crazy for a young couple to have a baby and simply celebrate the birth and stop caring for the baby. The birth of the baby is not the end. It is just the beginning. So it is in evangelism. Jesus said, “Go and make disciples.”
